6 Yard Dumpster Rental
6 Yard Dumpster Rental
Arrowaste is a residential dumpster rental company that services the entire west Michigan area. For small residential construction projects, we offer a cost efficient 6 yard temporary dumpster that will meet your needs. Our 6 yard dumpster will accommodate several residential and commercial projects from small room remodels and renovations to clean out projects.
The 6 yard dumpster rental measures 6.5 feet long, 6 feet wide and 5.1 feet tall. With a compact footprint, the 6 yard dumpster is versatile for your garage or basement clean out, fencing removal and several other home or commercial projects. This dumpster will hold approximately 1 ton of disposed materials, or approximately 2000 lbs of debris. If you have a larger construction project in mind, consider our 10, 20, 30 or 40 yard dumpster rentals. As you increase the size of your residential dumpster rental it will accommodate larger projects respectively, and we provide capacity recommendations to make sure you get the right size.
When it comes to deciding what size residential dumpster rental you’ll need, Arrowaste will help you each step of the way. Through years of renting roll-off dumpsters to residential and commercial clients we know which dumpster will work best for your projects. The best way to determine the right dumpster is to describe the project to one of our team members. We like to understand the details of the project and exactly what you’ll be disposing of and working on. The more detail the better and will help us make the best recommendation. Not only do we want to make sure you don’t overspend on your dumpster rental, we want to make sure you don’t get a dumpster that won’t meet the project needs. If the rental is too small additional transportation charges will be incurred, and your project timeline might need to be adjusted. Keeping your project on schedule is key to keeping costs in line with original estimates. If a project timeline is interrupted the delay might incur additional costs by your contractor as well.

Dumpster Tips
Dumpster Tips
Wood Under Dumpster
Lay wood or plywood down on your driveway or grass. 3 pieces of 2×6 lumber, or 2 sheets of plywood will work. The wood helps prevent driveway and lawn damage.
Keep it Level
When you load your dumpster keep in mind to load it level full, not over the top. If it’s heavy material make sure the weight is evenly distributed from side to side and front to back, And make sure you load it so material does not fall out.
Tonnage Capacity
Keep in mind that dumpsters have different tonnage capacities and load limits. If you are disposing of especially heavy materials, make sure you let us know and we can advise you on your specific tonnage limitations.
Around and Above
If you need to open the back door of the dumpster, allow at least 6 feet between buildings and the dumpster. An often-overlooked aspect of dumpster rentals is that the truck needs clearance from trees and wires above the drop off point. Lifting a dumpster takes some considerable height for trucks to deliver and retrieve.
Keep Town Happy
Contact your town to find out if a permit is required for your dumpster and for other instructions. For example, a dumpster on the street requires approval.
