Self-contained Compactors
Self-contained compactors are not mounted to the ground. The compacting equipment and the receiver container are constructed as a complete unit. Once the unit is full, the entire unit, including the compactor, is picked-up by a roll-off truck, the contents are disposed of, and the entire unit is returned to the site. Self -contained compactors often handle large volumes wet waste and are often used for food waste.
